Denise M. Cohen, a nightclub manager by night and web designer by day! With nearly 25 years of experience in the service industry between restaurants, bars and nightclubs, I have had the luxury of being able to explore my creative side on many levels. From the creation of a party concept, to the design of the invitation or advertisement, to the planning, preparing and hosting of the event, I enjoy the process from the beginning to the end.

My first exploration into computers started in 1979 when computers were 6ft tall and 4ft wide and programming was done on punch cards (by hand) and the Apple was used mainly for Space Invaders. However, from years of operating bars I was able to learn techniques for designing ads/flyers from our freelance designers and over years I took over the design of our magazine ads and hand-out flyers. Then having to create a concept for our website for the nightclub, I soon developed an intense interest in web design. So, in 2007, I decided to take the hands-on experience that I had gained and incorporate that with a quality training program from Sessions School of Design to earn a Web Design Masters Certificate with concentrations in Graphic Design and E-Commerce.
